JT Smoke was born from a lifelong passion for authentic, wood-fire barbecue. We slow-smoke everything over hickory the old-fashioned way — no shortcuts, no gas, no tricks. Just salt, fire, and smoke.

Our History

START

A backyard passion for Kansas City-style BBQ takes root in New Philadelphia, Ohio. Every weekend, friends and neighbors line up for smoked brisket and pulled pork.

NEXT

Sweet Rain BBQ opens at 1706 E. High Ave — bringing hickory-smoked wood fire BBQ to Tuscarawas County for the first time.

THEN

Catering operations launch, letting JT Smoke bring pit BBQ to weddings, corporate events, and community gatherings across the region.

NOW

JT Smoke Kansas City Pit BBQ carries the tradition forward — same pit, same smoke, same commitment to real barbecue done right.
